MIAMI, FL, January 31, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Living Color Aquariums (www.livingcolor.com), the global industry leader in the design and manufacturing of iconic custom aquariums and themed exhibits, is proud to announce two new hospitality installations for Bokamper's Sports Bar & Grill, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Culver's Frozen Custard in Fort Myers, Florida.
In honor of Kim Bokamper's all-star football career, Living Color Aquariums designed a custom two-sided 15-foot long aquarium with a unique Miami Dolphins helmet insert for Bokamper's Sports Bar and Grill to capture the look and feel of Florida's famous football team. Sports fans can now sit and watch the aquarium's exotic saltwater fish as they swim among hand-crafted coral reefs and their favorite team's iconic helmet in both the sitting area and hostess area.
"Kim [Bokamper] was the star of the legendary 'Killer B' defense back in the day," added Mat Roy, president of Living Color Aquariums. "As the key designer of this aquarium, I was pleased to honor this former NFL star's legacy with our very own custom exhibit. This aquarium is also fitting for the location due to its proximity to the water!"
Bokamper's Sports Bar & Grill has multiple locations in Florida and this particular restaurant is situated on Oakland Park Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, along the water with dockage and ocean access. For more information, visit: http://www.bokampers.com/
With over 400 locations around the United States, Wisconsin-based Culver's Frozen Custard has made an aesthetic and unique change to its Ft. Myers, Florida location. Living Color Aquariums recently designed a unique 10-foot long and 600-gallon aquarium at the center of the facility, designed to appeal to Florida's title as the "Sunshine State."
"Living Color Aquariums is devoted to commemorating our client's brand through the projects we create for them," said Roy, who designed the custom tank. "To add a one-of-a-kind personal touch to this installation, we handcrafted a waterproof Culver's logo and seamlessly positioned it within our custom coral reefs. It is extremely important in the hospitality sector to engage customers, and nothing does it more effectively than the ambience of a custom aquarium we design."
The new installation is currently open for viewing in Culver's Frozen Custard located in Ft. Myers, Florida. For more information please visit: http://www.culvers.com/.

About Bokamper's Sports Bar & Grill
Kim "Bo" Bokamper began his career with the Miami Dolphins in 1976 as a first round draft pick. Over a 10 year career with the Dolphins, he played both linebacker and defensive end, earning Pro Bowl recognition in 1980 as a linebacker. During that time, the Dolphins played in two Superbowls and three AFC championship games. Kim retired from the NFL in 1985. In 1990, he began a career in broadcasting, doing sports for WIOD radio as part of the Dolphins pregame and postgame shows. Eventually he began hosting regular sports talk shows in a variety of timeslots. Later, Kim moved to another radio station where he continued to participate in Dolphin programming in addition to beIng a talk show host. In 1996, Kim began working with CBS4 in Miami as a member of their on air sports team. Along with covering sports for the daily newscast, he also hosts shows and participates in the Miami Dolphin pregame show, "Dolphin Weekly", at the site of every game. Kim and his family have been Plantation residents for over 30 years and look forward to Bokampers becoming a favorite neighborhood destination for good times, great food and unparalleled sports coverage in South Florida's Ultimate Mega Sports Bars.
About Culver's Frozen Custard
In 1984 Craig and Lea Culver, along with Craig's parents George and Ruth, opened the very first Culver's in the family's beloved hometown of Sauk City, Wisconsin.
In a sense it was destiny.
The son of a cheesemaker and grandson of a Wisconsin farmer, George Culver spent the early part of his career inspecting and grading dairy farms for the Wisconsin Dairies Cooperative. While George was out calling on area dairy farms, Ruth Culver was home joyfully raising their three children, instilling in them the small-town, Midwest values she herself had come to know growing up in Sauk City.
In 1961, George and Ruth seized an opportunity to buy their first restaurant. With no formal training, only Ruth's warm and gracious hospitality and George's natural command of the kitchen, the two proved a great team. With their kids growing up serving guests and learning firsthand about hospitality and delicious food cooked to order, the Culver family's team approach became the model of many successful restaurants and supper clubs to come.
Then, in 1984 came an idea for a restaurant no one could resist. Craig combined a love for his mom's homemade hamburgers with his favorite childhood vacation treat, fresh frozen custard, creating our signature combination: Culver's ButterBurgers and Fresh Frozen Custard.
