"The NFF is very excited to continue this valuable partnership with Magic Jet Group."- Wes Swaffar
NEW YORK, NY, October 23, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/
-- Magic Jet Group is pleased to announce the two-year anniversary of its partnership with the National Forest Foundation. Through its "Magic Tree Program," the New York based private jet charter company will continue to plant at least 25 trees per trip, in honor of each respective client. As these trees grow, they will help sequester carbon dioxide, and will release oxygen.
Magic Jet Group's CEO, Stephanie Brooke Friedman commented, "The Magic Tree Program is very close to my heart, as I am sensitive to the carbon footprint left by the private aviation industry. Tree planting helps to offset the carbon dioxide that is emitted by planes during flight. This program allows us to deliver the best service and rates to our clients, while offsetting the carbon footprint and participating in the restoration of our much valued public lands."
Over the last two years, Magic Jet Group has planted hundreds of trees in honor of their clients. Wes Swaffar, the National Forest Foundation's Ecosystem Services Program Manager added, "The NFF is very excited to continue this valuable partnership with Magic Jet Group. Planting these trees helps to improve the health of our National Forests by sequestering carbon, providing clean water, crucial wildlife habitat and enhancing recreational opportunities."
All trees have been planted on National Forests lands within their native range that have been deforested by natural disasters such as wildfire, insect outbreaks, or wind events.
