Making This House a Home! 1st Annual Angels Orphan Home Celebration Minneapolis Radisson October 26 at 6 p.m. Help make the newly built orphan house a home with a much needed outdoor kitchen!

Every orphan deserves a safe place to call home. The HIV/AIDS orphans will have loving care, education in a family-style home environment. Help them enjoy meals around the kitchen table by attending the 1st Annual Angels Home for Orphans Celebration.

    MINNEAPOLIS, MN, September 25, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The newly built HIV/AIDS orphan home in Cameroon West Africa is ready to have its first 12 orphans call it home. A few finishing touches are needed so Angel of Mercy USA organized its 1st Annual Angel Orphan Home Celebration at the Minneapolis Radisson October 26 at 6 p.m. Angel of Mercy is a U.S based nonprofit located in Oakdale Minnesota with operations in Cameroon.

"We call this the house that love built," said Relindis Moffor, President and Founder of Angel of Mercy USA. "A group of volunteers adopted the orphan home project with the help and fundraising support of 200 Orphanages Worldwide, a Sartell MN based international nonprofit. They helped us see our dream of providing housing and medical help for HIV/AIDS orphans in my home country come true." Funds from the evening will go toward an outdoor kitchen. The public is invited.

Board member Mary Tjosvold, CEO of Mary T Inc in Coon Rapids, MN will share her philanthropic experiences with the school she's funded in Cameroon and the brighter future of the orphans in the care of Angel of Mercy. The cost of the dinner, entertainment and dance is $75. There will also be a Home Grown Lamb Meat Raffle and silent auction.

The Orphanage Project: Orphans like Emanuel have been looking forward to their new home for the last few years. The Angel of Mercy orphans will reside in a family oriented environment and children will be for by selected care givers. They will be in a home-style environment where they will be provided social services, educational opportunities, arts and craft activities and medical services. Medical care will be provided on site by the "Angel of Mercy" staff nurses. The goal for "Angel of Mercy" is to eventually accommodate up to 40 orphans and give them a loving, caring, and warm environment which will become their permanent home. Currently, the orphans are from 3 years of age to15 years of age, both male and female. Older orphans from all age group are encouraged to participate in this program in other to help nurture and provide basic care for the younger ones.

Relindis started "Angel of Mercy", a non- profit organization as a way of helping HIV/AIDS patients, the underprivileged, and orphaned children in her country. Her goal is to make a difference in the lives of those who have not been blessed with the opportunities she had as a child. It is her own way of giving back to her society and living the legacy of her parents and grandmother. "Angel of Mercy" was founded in November, 2005 by Relindis Oyebog, a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota, USA. Relindis was born in Bamenda, Cameroon. She grew up in small town called Limbe, but spent all her summer vacations helping her grandmother in Bambui. She came to the USA in 1986 to further her studies, earning college degrees in Health Sciences, Nursing, and is currently working on a master's degree in Organizational Leadership. She has a successful career as a Registered Nurse, working as an Administrative Nursing Supervisor in an LTACH (Long Term Acute Care Hospital) in the state of Minnesota.

"Angel of Mercy" is operated in Cameroon by a team of Registered Nurses, Case Managers, Program Coordinators, Sales Associates, and a Project Manager. This dynamic team ensures that the programs meet the needs of the people and serve in ways that will optimize the livelihood of the under-privilege in the community. "Angel of Mercy" works in collaboration with the government officials, district offices and local traditional leaders in their areas of operation to ensure that we are in compliance with government regulations, community standards, and local laws. The organization partners with other organizations to provide services that will meet the day to day needs of their clients.
