    LEONIA, NJ, June 11, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Marie Elsie Laurence-Chounoune, Chief of Operations & Planning for the United Nations Development Programme's Office of Information Systems and Technology, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of information technology.

Ms. Laurence-Chounoune has 20 years of professional experience in public administration, managing operations, overseeing financial and human resources, supervising teams, providing oversight to ICT Portfolios, and helping teams achieve their goals. She also develops programs and worked for the United Nations in West Central Africa for seven years designing and managing operations for programs in poverty, HIV/AIDS, governance and environment. She attributes her success to hard work, supportive parents and strong personal values. Ms. Laurence-Chounoune is pursuing her Ph.D. in Public Policy. She received her Master of Arts in Public Administration in 1999 and her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 1992.
