Cambridge Who's Who
- Cambridge, MA, May 14, 2008, Marilyn Huffman, Master Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist for the Institute for Health and Recovery, has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of tobacco treatment therapy and tobacco use education.
Ms. Huffman has 30 years of experience in her field. She considers herself an expert in educating and treating clients with tobacco addiction. She is currently responsible for training staff in substance abuse recovery programs on the integration to the recovery setting and also helps implement methods of treating tobacco addiction. Ms. Huffman attributes her success to her love for her profession and her ability to effectively care for and respect clients.
In addition to holding certifications as both a tobacco treatment specialist and a clinical hypnotherapist, Ms. Huffman received her Master's Degree in Fine Arts from The University of Texas at Austin. She was a nominee for the Compassionate Caregiver Award from Kenneth B. Schwartz in 2002, and in the future hopes to continue consulting work helping health facilities go "tobacco free."
