After completing an associate's degree in recreational leadership, an associate's degree in computer science, and an associate's degree in liberal arts at Bellevue University, Marilyn L. Lehmann embarked on a career in business management.
For the past four years, she has worked as a manager at Tools for Independent Living, LLC, an online store which provides products designed to help handicapped individuals become more independent. The product line includes seat lifts, grabbers, ergonomic flatware, plates, cups, mugs, kitchen knives, adapters for pens, scissors for left-handed people, and raised toilet seats, among others. Passionate about helping others, Ms. Lehmann researches customer needs and finds way to accommodate their requirements.
Catering to an international demographic of customers, she seeks to assist those living with disabilities or handicaps regardless of their challenge or age. Her mission is to provide cost effective products which are easy to access and can be delivered speedily. Aiming to continually provide customer satisfaction, Ms. Lehmann also has a community of resources to draw on for referral of products and services they don't provide.
In the coming years, she intends to network with professionals in specialty sales to keep abreast of new products and trends.
