ANCHORAGE, AK, September 7, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark A. Malzahn, Physician Assistant for Dr. John Frost, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in healthcare.

Mr. Malzahn has 25 years of overall professional experience. As a physician assistant, he manages all aspects of orthopedics treatments for patients in the absence of the doctor, assists patients for all knee care, pre surgery and post surgery recovery,
and works closely with nurses and office staff. He is in charge of running a program called 'Project Access,' where they see patients that are uninsured to help out that portion of the community. Mr. Malzahn also teaches healthcare administration as an adjunct professor at Wayland Baptist University. He is responsible for keeping current on the latest curriculum, as well as assisting students, conducting research, lecturing and testing.

A member of the Alaska Academy of Physician Assistants, Mr. Malzahn received his Master of Business Administration from the University of La Verne. In 1984, he completed physician assistant training through the U.S. Army.
