    TEXAS, October 25, 2012 /Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Mary Rich, Vice President of the Smart Grid Division for Wise Men Consultants, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in information technology consulting.

After working in several IT management positions and managing many large scale IT projects, most recently in the utility business, Ms. Rich worked her way up the ranks to her current position. An expert in information technology and large project implementation, Ms. Rich is tasked with handling smart grid activities and projects for utility companies, running the Smart Grid Division, supervising project managers, overseeing projects and ensuring they are completed on time and in budget, and meeting with utility executives. She has an enormous amount of utility business knowledge and is IT savvy.

A well-known leader in her field, she has been honored with numerous accolades for her success in the industry including, Procurement Champion of the Year in 2012, Women Minority Owned Business Champion of the Year by Centerpoint in 2012, and Product Visionary Plaque. She was also featured in the Intelligent Utility Magazine.

Ms. Rich earned her bachelor's degree in mathematics at the University of Texas and is a member of the Houston Minority Business Council, Houston Minority Supplier Development Council and National Association of Professional Women. She is also charitably involved with Angel Airlines For Cancer Patients, Junior Achievement, March of Dimes Foundation, United Way Worldwide, and her local battered women's shelter.

She attributes her success to her ability to manage people and pay attention to detail. Ms. Rich hopes to help utility companies implement their Smart Grid projects.
