LAS VEGAS, NV, February 02, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- After a big win last year at the 2013 Surfaces Show as "Best Large Booth," Quick Step wanted Mecca Design and Production to help them put their best foot forward and continue to grow the fashion-forward theme of "Long Live Style". The 2014 custom booth for Quick•Step at the International Surfaces Event Las Vegas, where all the flooring industry players meet, promises to bring a unique experience and invite convention visitors in for a further look into a world of dynamic style and sustainability. Wanting to bring that superior presence again at the biggest show all year involves showcasing the newest high-quality flooring in an unexpected and memorable way: this year with a nod to fashion essentials like lipstick and nail polish and even a live fashion show. Visitors will enter the 3,500 sq. foot booth to discover the new Quick•Step floors line, Q-Wood, featuring thirteen newly engineered wood planks, all fashion based. The visual impact of five, custom vignettes showing fashion and flooring combinations has a standout in a giant, 7 foot lipstick hanging 16 feet up on the wall with "Long Live Style" written in a rich red. Enter this world, transformed by flooring, and escape to the realm of high fashion with live fashion models wearing laminate-printed and flooring-adorned custom dresses, oversized Kate Spade styled purses, and accessories all made with Quick•Step flooring. While the models will walk the runway highlighting the new flooring in one part of the booth, the 44 sq. foot fashion Wow Wall, artistically displays fourteen Quick•Step flooring products, seven laminate and seven wood, in another. Surfaces is being held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, January 27 - 30, 2014.
Kenneth Mecca stated, "We loved the challenge of creating a new booth for Quick•Step with so many different, custom areas and features that could communicate great style and sustainability with a strong fashion sense."
