MGM Grand Detroit's Bell Services Department Receives Prestigious Chairman's Service Excellence Award from MGM Resorts International

    DETROIT, MI, January 04, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Bell Services Department at MGM Grand Detroit, the city's premier entertainment destination, has received the Chairman's Service Excellence Award for the third quarter from MGM Resorts International. MGM Grand Detroit is the first MGM Resorts property outside Las Vegas to be awarded this recognition.

The quarterly award program was launched this summer to honor high performing departments across the Company that exemplify excellence in guest service. All MGM Resorts properties submit one nomination for a department that has provided exemplary service throughout the quarter. A panel of executives led by Chairman Jim Murren then select the winning three departments.

Every winning team will receive a trophy to display within their department for the duration of the subsequent quarter, a celebratory event in their honor, and special features and recognitions within employee communications.
