    LEHIGHTON, PA, June 12, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Michelle Rupert, Area Manager for Wawa, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of retail management.

With 25 years of experience in her position, Ms. Rupert is in charge of managing 15 stores for Wawa, Inc., a food service company specializing in fresh products. Her responsibilities include monitoring profit-and-loss, staffing, implementing marketing plans, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Ms. Rupert began her career at Wawas 25 years ago as a sales associate when she was still in high school; since then, she has managed to advance not only her own career, but the careers of those who have trained and worked under her. She attributes her success and longevity to her ability to develop others and challenge them as a team instead of individually.

Ms. Rupert received her Master's Degree in Business in 2006 from DeSales University and her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Dynamics and Human Resources in 2001 from Immaculata University. She is a member of Executive Women's Food Service. She sits on the board of Variety Club Camp and Developmental Center and volunteers regularly with Northern Home for Children. Ms. Rupert aspires to become a director at Wawa within the next five years.
