LOS ANGELES, CA, January 16, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/
-- Mike Taylor has been named Division President for Pardee Homes' Inland Empire
division announced Jon Lash, Executive Vice President and COO for the multi-regional home builder. Taylor, who has served as Pardee Homes' Vice President/Regional Manager since 2002, started with the company in 1998.
"Over the years, through the good times and more challenging times, Mike Taylor has proven his ability to make sound business decisions and guide his dedicated Inland Empire Team to many great accomplishments," said Lash. "Mike approaches every day with a tremendous amount of passion for the business and works tirelessly on ways to continue to grow the division."
In 2013, under the direction of Taylor, Pardee Homes'
Inland Division rebounded from the previous year's recession to lead the company in both home closings and lot sales. In addition to closing the most houses of any other division in the company, the Inland Empire team also achieved the highest customer satisfaction scores.
Taylor initially joined Pardee Homes' Las Vegas Purchasing Department in 1998, moving the following year to California as Project Coordinator/Director of Community Development for the LA/Ventura Division where he was responsible for completing entitlements for the Fair Oaks Ranch master planned community, then restarting the company's Palmdale operation after several years of inactivity. In late 2000, Taylor started the Inland Empire Division bringing the Canyon Hills, Sundance and Tournament Hills master planned communities to market. He successfully guided the entitlement process for these thriving communities, with over 10,000 lots.
In addition to Taylor's real estate and development industry experience, his education background includes a Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning and Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California and completion of the General Management Program at Harvard University.
