/24-7PressRelease/ -- Cougars from throughout California are invited to compete for the title of Miss Cougar California at the first-ever California Cougar Convention, Friday, November 6, 2009, at the Crowne Plaza Beverly Hills, 1150 S Beverly Drive, Los Angeles CA. Cubs (younger men) in attendance will decide who wins the contest. Adults of all ages are welcome.
LUCIA , "Queen of the Cougar Jungle" (KTLA TV), will deliver the Keynote Address: The Cougar Revolution. "When young men think of a Cougar," says Lucia, "they imagine a single woman over 40 who is attractive, sexy, classy, confident, fit, independent, and healthy. True Cougars are vibrant, have glowing skin, shiny hair, and dress with class. They often look much younger than their actual age. Unfortunately, the news media is sensationalizing the Cougar Revolution by focusing on WANNA-BE COUGARS, who don't look healthy, often have over-tanned skin and straw hair, are overweight, show too much cleavage, are sleazy rather than sexy, and look older than their age."

The highpoint of the Convention will be the Miss Cougar California Contest. The winner will be a woman who is present at the Convention, legally single, and at least 40 years of age.
