A new division focusing on Gaging and Automation Systems is now dedicated to continuing the automation work that has always been accomplished within their Machine Tool Turning Division.

The gages being developed and manufactured will garner special interest for various applications, but the concepts will inform future automation innovations as well.

Landrum also noted that all the software being used was developed right in Charlotte, and has the added value of being compatible with both new and older machine designs.
The Gaging and Automation Systems division will be offering post process gages, infeed systems, outfeed systems, shuttles and transfers, and orientation stations as part of their product and service offerings.
"There's really no limit to what this technology can accomplish," Landrum said.
