In addition to industry-related training, Dr. Petit received her MD from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 1986. She dedicates her spare time to raising funds for Meals on Wheels, the Hope Academy Fundraising and the Hurricane Katrina Relief. Dr. Petit is a member of the Medical Society of Delaware, the Alpha Omega Alpha, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
