NASHVILLE, Tenn: Middle Tennessee Company protects Bell family on March "Extreme Makeover Home Edition" Show!

FRANKLIN, TN, March 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A Tucson, AZ foothills home will become the first Mold Proof home ever featured on ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The Bell family was surprised by Ty Pennington and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" with a new home built in just seven days.

Their daughter, Lizzie (14), was born with a rare blood condition, Diamond-Blackfan Anemia, which is characterized by a failure of the bone marrow to produce red blood cells. In addition to Lizzie's staggering medical expense, the Bell's were living with catastrophic, irreversible damage to their home caused by extensive mold and termite infestation and foundation failure.

Vintage Construction (based in Arrington, TN) and Mold Proof (based in both Kernersville, NC and Taylors, SC) is donating its permanent mold prevention system backed by a Lifetime Warranty to the Bell family. Along with Vintage Construction, Mold Proof teams from Richmond, VA, Greensboro, NC and Tuscon, AZ united on site to install the Mold Proof System. According to Scott Walter, owner of Vintage Construction, "No home should ever harm its family. And with a compromised immune system, Mold Proof will help to eliminate Lizzie Bell's health risks". Further, the products and practices employed by the Mold Proof professionals are non-toxic, environmentally friendly and VOC compliant which are all essential to "Going Green".

The Mayo Clinic has linked nearly all of the chronic sinus infections that trouble approximately 37 million Americans, like Lizzie Bell to mold. Recent studies have also linked mold to the tripling of the asthma rate over the past 20 years. In addition to the health risks, homes associated with mold have diminished property values by up to 60%! The heartfelt desire to protect America's families from such unnecessary harm resulting from toxic mold growth is at the epicenter of the Mold Proof system, from the developing scientists, to caring installers across the country.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Tucson will air on the local ABC affiliate WKRN-2 on March 22, 2009 at 7:00 PM.
