    NASSAU, BAHAMAS, December 26, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nassau Realtor and principal broker of Island Living Real Estate Rachel Pinder recently hired Carla S. Burrows to represent the agency in Long Island.

Burrows took the real estate exam in October and is in the process of being approved by the local board of the Bahamas Real Estate Association to receive her license.

Burrows is a Long Island native and possesses a vast knowledge of the area.

"As the out islands continue to grow, there is more and more of a need to have representation in those areas," Pinder said. "Carla also has a background in banking, so she is knowledgeable with mortgage procedures, which is a good asset for this job, as a high percentage of persons require mortgages when purchasing property."
