BARRIE, ON, CANADA, March 14, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Single-serve coffee supplier Java Cup Co., has started a new program directed at local businesses to help meet their growing coffee needs. The "Java at Work" program allows businesses in the Barrie area to purchase single-serve coffee and tea in bulk. The program integrates the cost-savings of buying in larger quantities with a diverse selection generally not available through bulk purchase.

According to consumer market researcher NPD Group, single-serve coffee systems have seen one of the largest coffee segment growths in the last two years. With businesses now switching to this type of coffee making in the workplace, this new program is filling a much-needed market niche.

"More businesses are clever enough to ask themselves if they really need a formal, traditional coffee service" states Patrice Shennette, owner of Java Cup Co. "A lot of businesses realize that, for the amount of coffee they actually make, they can benefit from using a single-serve brewer so they can enjoy the variety, one cup at a time. We're keeping it simple and fun".

Best suited to businesses of less than 30 employees, the program is essentially an opportunity to buy K-Cups in bulk with minimum monthly commitments. The benefit of the program is the ability to mix and match the selection from a wide variety of over 250 different coffees, teas, ciders and hot chocolates.

In addition to bulk coffee, Keurig single-serve brewing systems are available for purchase, with Java Cup Co. offering the units at wholesale price upon entering the program.

"The days of sitting in a waiting room at a car repair shop, looking at a dusty old pot of coffee are gone", states Patrice Shennette, owner of Java Cup Co. "If you are a company that is still doing that, it's time to make the switch. The Java at Work program will make it easy for you to impress your customers and reward your staff".

Java Cup Co. opened its doors for business in November 2012 and is committed to creating local jobs with new hires and an anticipated demand creating up to 10 additional employment opportunities in the coming year. In addition to the "Java at Work" program, the 2000 sq. ft. retail store also features a "Try Before You Buy" policy to ensure complete customer satisfaction is achieved.
