SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, July 22, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sydney businesses looking to lease or buy commercial property have a new way of determining the amount of space they need. The new office space calculator with floor plans was introduced with the launch of the new website for Tim Green Commercial www.tgc.com.au.

"Finding the right commercial property for lease in Sydney can be challenging, especially for SME's and start ups," says Tim Green, Managing Director of Tim Green Commercial. "We're pleased to be able to offer businesses this new, free tool to help them with their search."

In addition to giving businesses with a guide on how much space they'll need, Tim Green Commercial's office space calculator also provides a number of sample floor plans and layouts to help business visualise and plan their office space.

To use the calculator, users simply enter the number of staff they are looking to accommodate in the new space and the type of layout (open plan or closed offices) they're looking for. The tool then displays the recommended space required and a number of different floor plans that match the entered criteria.

The tool was launched this week along with the new website for Tim Green Commercial, which features the most up-to-date availability listings for commercial real estate throughout Sydney, including the Sydney CBD, Northern Suburbs and the City Fringe suburbs such as Surry Hills and Ultimo. The new website also includes an interactive office move checklist to help businesses plan for their relocation as well as a blog for the latest information and articles on the commercial property sector.

"We are dedicated to assisting our clients with their total property needs, including buying, selling and leasing commercial real estate as well as property management," says Green. "This new website will provide the most relevant and comprehensive information to meet our clients' commercial real estate needs."
