-- NEW YORK, January 21, 2013, Nicole E. Rhodes, CEO and Managing Partner of Rhodes Okamoto International (ROI), LLC., has been named a Worldwide Branding Executive of the Year in Operations Management. Inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor and only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.
Ms. Rhodes has five years of professional experience, having recently become the CEO and Managing Partner of Rhodes Okamoto International (ROI), LLC. Over the years, she has cultivated a wide range of skills and disciplines, including business strategy, business development, financial management, and strategic growth planning. On a daily basis, she is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the company, including sales management and business development. Her current focus is with the upcoming launch of Goldendov, Inc., as Co-Founder and CFO.
Looking back, Ms. Rhodes attributes her success to hard work, supportive family and her background in psychology and economics. Ms. Rhodes began her professional career as a financial analyst for Goldman Sachs. After three years with the firm, she decided to join her first entrepreneurial venture at FLUROwater, Inc. In short order, she was hired on as the Vice President and COO. In May 2013, Nikki founded her own consulting company alongside marketing and media veteran, Edie Okamoto. In years to come, Ms. Rhodes would like to continue growing the company and to assist with several other venture launches.
Ms. Rhodes received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Harvard University in 2009. She was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and also currently serves as President for the Friends of Harvard Soccer Women's Board as well as The Isis Club. Ms. Rhodes was a member of the Harvard varsity soccer team for four years, and she was elected as a captain for three years from 2005 until 2008, earning herself the honor as the first-ever Harvard freshman elected as captain. In 2007, Ms. Rhodes was an Academic All-American nominee for Harvard. While at Harvard, she was an active member of the Harvard College Investment Magazine Strategy Board, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, the Isis Club Student Board of Directors, Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business and the Big Sisters Organization.
