"We first introduced 'Movie Magic' as a summer camp in 2012," explains Jessie Rose, Owner of The Rose Theatre Company, "and it was a big hit with the kids and their parents. So we're excited to be working with Nikki to bring it back as a weekly class."
For Young - who also teaches Theatre to special-needs students at Monarch Academy, and promotes literacy to kids across San Antonio as "Miss Nikki, The Literature Lady" - the class is a great opportunity. "My heart has always been with teaching kids," she says, "and I've really enjoyed working with Jessie and the kids at The Rose Theatre Company. So I'm looking forward to meeting a new group of students, and introducing them to 'Movie Magic!'"
