I love helping people, especially helping them change their lives. I feel grateful that I can do for others what was done for me.
DALLAS, TX, October 29, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/
-- When Carlos Caballero was eleven, it wasn't a famous rock star or pro athlete that mesmerized him. It was his orthodontist.
"I remember waiting for my appointment in the waiting room. The door opened and it was just one of those moments. The light went on for me when the orthodontist welcomed me to his office. Throughout my treatment, I always paid close attention to what he was doing. He was having so much fun, I was hypnotized by him!" recounts Caballero, who earned his dental credentials in Mexico, but decided to practice in the United States.
Despite the challenge of earning his degrees all over again, he completed his CAGS from Boston University in 2009 and then received his MS degree at the University of Minnesota in 2012. He became the first Surgical and Craniofacial Orthodontic fellow from Case Western Reserve University, where he graduated in 2013. Along the way, he won multiple awards and published in the orthodontic field.
After three years with SureSmile, Dr. Caballero recently joined Apple Orthodontix. "I've always been impressed with Apple. They take care of their doctors and have always used the best materials," says Caballero. "But more importantly, for me, it's all about face to face interactions with patients. It's always about the patients. That's why I'm hungry for knowledge. I love helping people, especially helping them change their lives. I feel grateful that I can do for others what was done for me."
"Dr. Caballero is just the kind of orthodontist that works well at Apple. We seek out doctors with excellent professional and interpersonal skills so our patients have the best possible treatment experience. We offer the finest high tech bracket systems like Insignia and Damon Clear Braces and use the newest equipment like the Lythos scanner, so we need doctors that are excited about exploring new things. We're delighted to have someone with Dr. Caballero's skills join the Apple family," says CEO Chad Packard.
When not creating beautiful smiles at Apple, Dr. Caballero enjoys being a new father. He practices martial arts and enjoys motorcycling. He also intends to join an orthodontics staff at a local hospital to continue helping people with craniofacial deformities.
