/24-7PressRelease/ -- Otto Media has produced a series of commercials that take the number one home improvement company in upstate New York, Comfort Windows, back in time. The creative team at Comfort Windows and Otto Media took inspiration from H.G. Wells's "The Time Machine" to help showcase Comfort Windows and the timely matter they complete jobs.
The commercials were a unique and challenging undertaking for Otto Media. The filming process took extensive planning and shooting since a miniature replica of the time machine used in the 1960 George Pal film adaptation of Wells's novel was a key part of the production. A composition of the pre-shot footage of the miniature was used during the filming process with Fritz Gentile, Comfort Windows' general manager.
"The most fun, and challenging thing was trying to fit a person inside of a miniature, making it function and the scale correct as far as the composition. We wanted to make sure his arms and legs were in the right position and that the angles were correct as well," Bret Moses of Otto Media said about the process.
The spots, which required a large amount of green screen composition and took about eight times longer to edit and render in post, can be viewed in the local markets of Syracuse, Albany, Rochester and Buffalo, New York as well as on the Comfort Windows YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/user/comfortwindows.
