/Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Ouida Hewett, Chief Executive Officer of Ouida's Enterprises, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in health and wellness.
For the past 25 years, Ms. Hewett has been building on a versatile and sophisticated skill set, and at present, her expertise lies in journalism and the oversight of health and wellness programs at the helm of her own company, which provides nutritional and herbal products for beauty and women's health concerns. Ms. Hewett is a two-star affiliate with TriVita. She strives to become a three-star member and join the president's team. Ms. Hewett is a marketing expert and does demos in stores. She is also a journalist and writes articles for local newspaper. She writes stories about growing up, as well as articles on the history of Supply and North Carolina's historical society.
Ms. Hewett is on the Board of Directors for the Brunswick Christian Recovery Center, which teaches Christian values and offers a 12-step Christian program. This program was established in 2009. Ms. Hewett also helped found a local literacy council in 1984 to help youths obtain GED certificates and high school diplomas. Ms. Hewett has been married to her husband, Freeman, for 61 years. Together, they have six children, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. They live on a 100-year-old farm. They used to grow tobacco and corn, and raise cows.
Ms. Hewett attributes her success to being a good Christian and asking Jesus to tell her what to do. She became involved in her profession because TriVita has helped her maintain her health in many ways. She is a strong believer in the products. She completed college coursework, and has since been able to remain abreast of advancements made in her field and developments in her community as the founder of the Brunswick Christian Recovery Center, and a member of the Brunswick County Historical Society. She is also the founder of the Brunswick County Literacy Council and Brunswick County Habitat, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is affiliated with Democratic Women, and the Brunswick County Democratic. Ms. Hewett has been named a Democratic Party Star, and she has received the 4-H Leaders Award, the Youth Leadership Award, the North Carolina Status of Women Award, the Sencland Community Action Reward, and the Wall of Honor Award, as granted by the Brunswick County Democratic Party, for her efforts.
