/24-7PressRelease/ - LANGHORNE, PA, April 16, 2008 - Langhorne-area emergency crews participated in a mock bomb threat drill in the Oxford Valley Mall parking lot on April 9, 2008. Through the realistic portrayal of a bomb threat, participants had the opportunity to rehearse emergency protocols and procedures.
Participants in the drill included:

• Falls Township Police Department
• Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company
• Lower Makefield Police Department
• Middletown Township Community Emergency Response Team Alumni
• Middletown Township Emergency Management Office
• Middletown Township Police Citizen's Police Academy Alumni
• Middletown Township Police Department
• Oxford Valley Mall Management and Security
• Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad
• Pennsylvania State Police
• South Central Special Emergency Response Team
According to Patricia Gillett, Oxford Valley Mall Marketing Manager, "The Mall is always eager to assist local law enforcement agencies and response teams in exercises that will provide them with the experience to prepare for emergencies in our community. The Oxford Valley Mall is a retail center, of course, but for the people who live in Lower Bucks County, it's also a community center, and has been for more than 30 years. Exercises such as this are part of our commitment to the community's safety."
