Patricia A. Burke Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

    GLOBE, AZ, October 5, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Patricia A. Burke, Dean of Gila Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of academic administration.

With more than eight years of professional experience in education, Ms. Burke is responsible for developing curriculum, managing work force development, conducting adult basic education programs and partnering with the community. She previously worked as an editor-in-chief and adjunct faculty member, where she taught business and computers. Her hard work, determination and education are the driving forces behind her success.

A product of the University of Phoenix, Ms. Burke holds an MBA, a Master of Arts in Organizational Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management. She serves as a vice president of the Southern Gila County Economic Development Corporation as well as a member of the Home of Pinal Mountain Foundation for Higher Education. Also a former member of the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Burke is also a member/Chaplain of the Pinal Mountain Elk Lodge #2809 in Globe, Arizona and a member of the Copper Cities Rotary club in Miami, Arizona.

Gila Community College is dedicated to providing individual attention to its students to ensure access to the resources needed to achieve academic success.
