AKRON, OH, October 3, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Peter J. Denholm, Highway Lighting Engineer for the City of Akron, Ohio, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of infrastructure management.

With an impressive background that spans 32 years, Mr. Denholm specializes in outside lighting engineering, especially roadway lighting. As highway lighting engineer, he is responsible for reviewing new construction plans, coordinating new construction on lighting, and overseeing the maintenance of overhead lighting fixtures and sign lights. He attributes his success to his perseverance and inspiring teachers.

A licensed electrical engineer for the state of Ohio, Mr. Denholm completed coursework in electrical engineering at the University of Akron. He is a member of the Electrical League of Ohio and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America, and volunteers with his local Catholic church.
