Piano Challenge is a piano playing robotic assistant and gaming app. This innovative app utilizes gaming and learning patented technologies, which builds finger control that develops real piano playing skills.
Select a song in either Rehearsal Mode or Performance Mode and see how the falling colored spheres teach you proper timing as they intersect with the Activity Line. You then have exploding color spheres and finger pads lighting up to let you know you're playing a song correctly.
The patent pending Looping and Tempo adjusting can also be applied to each song to make playing even easier. Looping allows you to play and focus on any small or large section of a song, while Tempo adjustment allows you to slow the song down to a snail's pace for rapid learning.
As you play, the robotic hands on the virtual piano provide the proper visuals to reinforce your learning process.
Scoring becomes active when the looping feature is closed, and the full song is playing. If the Tempo feature is not set to the middle neutral position, a scoring multiplier or divider will apply. Current scoring is displayed on the face of the app at all times. At the end of a round, the user's stats for timing, accuracy and proper fingering are displayed.
Players can choose from a library of 11 songs that come with the app. A full range of diverse song styles will be available as In-App purchases through the iTunes store. The goal of Piano Challenge is to have fun playing, learning, gaming and challenging yourself and your friends with your favorite songs.
The first release of Piano Challenge is currently available for purchase through the iTunes App store for an introductory price of $.99.
