VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, August 25, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Prevailance Inc, announced it was awarded the First Option Year for Hostile Intent Determination (HID) under its Antiterrorism Support Contract to United States Fleet Forces Command (USFF). HID is one of five task orders comprising a Firm, Fixed Price contract that has a base period of 12 months with two twelve-month options, for a total contract value of approximately $3 million if both options are exercised. ---
Prevailance directly supports USFFC Antiterrorism Division on a day-to-day basis conducting analysis of operational antiterrorism and force protection policies, training, and capabilities. This support enables USFF's Fleet Antiterrorism Directorate's primary missions, functions, and tasks of Command, Control, and Operation of the Antiterrorism Mission Area; articulation of Fleet Integrated AT War Fighting Readiness Requirements; and development/refinement of an Integrated AT Training, Assessment and Exercise continuum.
For the HID task order, Prevailance will lead the implementation of recommended improvements to Navy HID doctrine; curriculum; and tactics, techniques and procedures. In addition, this year's HID effort will include the planning for a limited objective experiment to determine HID proficiency standards for Navy force protection watch standers.
This effort will be led by Mr. Bill Cope, a USMC Infantry Officer with 20 years of experience in doctrine
and policy development. Mr. Cope has been with Prevailance for over a year and led the initial HID effort to recommend improvements to the way the US Navy teaches how best to determine hostile intent to its watch standers.
"We are very excited to continue the work we started last year and the opportunity to provide a product, based on our extensive ATFP experience, that will improve the processes, procedures and capabilities of our Sailors who stand guard over our bases and ships." said Mike Schroeder, Prevailance's ATFP Program Manager.
