/Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Lisa Marie Paonessa-Charney has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. After spending a quarter of a century projecting a specialty in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Ms. Paonessa-Charney has no intention of putting the brakes on her success any time soon. As a bilingual ultrasonographer, her fluency in Spanish has made her an incredible asset in accumulating and maintaining a wide-ranging clientele. She is charged with performing Abdomen, Obstetrics/Gynecology, High-Risk Obstetrics Small Parts and Neurosonography as well as writing industry papers. Her article titled, "Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiopancreatography" has been recognized by the School of Radiologic Technology at Hartford Hospital with a best paper award.
Attributing her accomplishments to her persistence, Ms. Paonessa-Charney received a Bachelor's Degree cum laude in Radiologic Sciences/Ultrasonography from Quinnipiac University. She holds Certifications in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Abdominal Sonography and Neurosonography, and Radiological Technology. Moreover, she is pursuing Certifications in Fetal Echocardiography and Vascular Sonography, and Breast Imaging, which she intends to complete in the coming years. Her professional affiliations include the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Inc. and American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. In the future, Ms. Paonessa-Charney aspires to establish an ultrasound business and pursue a Master's Degree in Health Administration
