Hocke said the webinar is designed to call the industry's attention to three important issues:
1. The extent of the problem of sediment contamination and how it will affect the marine industry.

3. What business opportunities are being created in contaminated sediment dredging and disposal?
Kevin Olsen, Passaic River Institute, Montclair State University, will be the featured webinar speaker. Olsen is the Instrumentation Specialist on the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department's support staff at the University. His current research interests include contaminated estuarine sediments. Before coming to Montclair State, Olsen worked in the environmental, instrumentation, and pharmaceutical industries.
