Recognized as a leading litigator for both corporate and individual clients, the proclamation notes that Dubis applies the skills developed through her legal profession and personal commitments to positively impact the local community in which she serves. Her volunteer contributions to civic and nonprofit organizations such as the pro bono legal services provided for the Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina, and community involvement in the Carolina Ballet and the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, are all a reflection of both the leadership and commitment Dubis provides to the Triangle. Through her representation of low wealth school districts, Dubis has also worked to ensure the right of all public school children to a sound basic education statewide.
