Dr Michael Zuk purchased one of John Lennons' teeth at auction for GBP19,500 in 2011 and is now attempting to use it to create a clone of the former Beatle. The story was reported by media during the summer and we checked in with the controversial dentist for an update. In an interesting interview he updated on his plans and gave us some insights into his thoughts in general on cloning humans including, how he has progressed with his plans and when we can expect to see a cloned John Lennon.

The dentist has not given up on his plans and is now talks with a tv production company about making a documentary about the early stages of the process. He also told us that expects it could all become a reality by 2040.
