    SANTA CLARA, CA, August 8, 2008 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Rebecca E. Lipon, Verification Specialist at Synopsys, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of electronic design verification.

With more than five years of experience in electronic design verification, Ms. Lipon specializes in chip verification and hardware design. She is responsible for the application of formal analysis and simulation methods and supervising accounts. She was honored with the SGI Individual Recognition Award in 2005. She became involved in her profession because of her education and attributes her success to the support she received from her mentors.

Ms. Lipon received her Bachelor of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2003 and is affiliated with the Society of Women Engineers. She looks forward to obtaining her master's degree in business administration and aspires to become an entrepreneur in environmentally-conscious electronics.
