After working as a travel agent for many years and gaining an extensive knowledge of the business, Ms. Sobel established her own company, Travel By Us RS Associates, eight years ago. Her goal is to help her clients book their dream vacation. During her 31-year career, she has developed a specialty in planning cruises and honeymoons. An advocate of cultural fusion, she sponsored an entire family from Thailand's trip to the United States.

Ms. Sobel holds travel industry certifications and keeps abreast of trends in her field by as a member of the Cruise Lines International Association, Inc., and Professional Travel Agents of North America. A standout amongst her peers, she is the two-time recipient of a Woman of the Year award and a Distinguished Service Award for 20 Years of Outstanding Dedicated Service from the Greater Rosslyn Business and Professional Association. Additionally, she has been honored by Kiwanis International for Outstanding Service, by the Commonwealth of Virginia for Citizenship Contribution, with a Humanitarian Award for devotion beyond expectation, Achievement in Sales Award by American Realty Corporation, certificate of recognition for distinguished service by the American Judges Association and Certificate of Commendation by the U.S. Army.
