/Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Robert G. Klemp Jr., Ph.D., Founder and President of SkillBott Inc., has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Online Education. While inclusion in the Worldwide Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.
Dr. Klemp founded PrimeTime C.S.I. 30 years ago with the goal of empowering and encouraging students to succeed in school, life and future employment opportunities. SkillBott Inc. was founded in 2011 and publishes an online educational curriculum and delivery system that teaches employability, career readiness and college preparation skills. Dr. Klemp has 40 years of professional experience and, throughout his illustrious career, has been asked to share his expertise as a speaker at numerous statewide and national events. Highly proficient in business, finance, education and technology, he enjoys providing grant writing opportunities for organizations that cannot afford technology delivered solutions. As the president of SkillBott, he is in charge of developing curricula, providing career coaching services, handling the company's marketing initiatives, conducting motivational speaking engagements, and handling his companies' financials.
He became involved in his profession based on his background in technology and education. He earned a Ph.D. in technology engineering, with a concentration in terminal services, at Graduate School of America, (in conjunction with several major technology companies), a Certificate of Advanced Study in technology delivery and a Master of Science (Mathematics) at National College of Education in Evanston, and both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
The highlight of his career was being able to take a PDF flat file based curriculum and convert it to a comprehensive, interactive online educational program. It supports multi-modality instruction/learning that provides students the tools essential to learn the life and work skills necessary to obtain and maintain employment, and build a lasting career.
In addition to establishing PrimeTime C.S.I. and SkillBott Inc., Dr. Klemp founded Focus X, Ltd., an investment company and has worked as owner and chief executive officer of PrimeTime Contractors, Inc., a construction company. He also served as technology coordinator at School District 159 in Matteson, Illinois. Dr. Klemp served 32 years in public school education and has also taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses at several respected universities and colleges. He constructed and founded the Gloria Jeans Coffee Bean storefronts in the Matteson Mall and in Chicago's Merchandise Mart and was a co-owner of a Subway sandwich shop in Downers Grove.
Dr. Klemp attributes his success to his social skills and ability to relate to people. He considers himself to be extremely fortunate to be surrounded by very talented coworkers and partners. In the coming years, he anticipates SkillBott will be the "Best in Class" curriculum for career and 21st Century life skills, internationally.
