/EIN Presswire/ -- Robert Shapiro is an experienced litigator who has a J.D. from Stanford, where he was an editor of The Stanford Law Review and a Ph.D. in American History from Harvard, where he was a Charles Warren Scholar in American History. Robert Shapiro is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and California and has practiced law in all of those jurisdictions. His has a wide range of practice experience, from representing plaintiffs in personal injury actions, to representing plaintiffs in complex securities fraud actions. He has also done pro bono work for the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project in Philadelphia, representing no-asset Debtors in Chapter 7 proceedings; and has also done pro bono work for the Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent Program and the New York State Access to Justice Program, where he assisted indigent clients with family law matters.
In addition to his legal experience, Robert Shapiro, has had experience as an educator, having taught history as Teaching Fellow at Harvard, as a Visiting Lecturer at Tufts, as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Hartford, and more recently as a Visiting Lecturer at Florida Atlantic University. In addition to his legal and academic experience, Robert Shapiro is committed to conserving the environment. He is a member of the Sierra Club and the Green Party of New Jersey. Robert Shapiro is also committed to protecting homeowners. In the November 2012 General Election, Robert Shapiro, ran as an Independent Candidate for Sheriff of Camden County, New Jersey, with the promise that if elected Sheriff, he would slow the Sheriff Sale process in Camden County and do everything within his power to aid distressed homeowners.
