Miller, Director of Global Strategic Account Development and OEM Strategic Alliances, Sales & Marketing for Covidien, has been named a Worldwide Branding Professional of the Year in OEM Sales & Licensing. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.

Mr. Miller has 40 years of professional experience, with eight years of experience as a Director of Global Strategic Account Development and OEM for Covidien. Over the years, he has established himself as an expert in relationship building, as well as management. On a daily basis, he is responsible for licensing and selling Covidien technology to major manufacturers around the world and ensuring its proper implementation. In addition, he supports a team to train the sales forces and marketing teams for these strategic alliances in North America, Central America and South America. Mr. Miller attends and monitors medical conferences, ensuring that Covidien is well-represented and that its products are marketed properly. Mr. Miller's Wife, Lesley Martin Miller, is also a 20-year employee of Covidien and a vice president of the Surgical Solutions Division, located in Boulder CO.

Mr. Miller's son, Joshua, and his wife, Ashleigh, have two children, Alexis and Ansley. Mr. Miller's other son, Jordan, and his wife, Michelle, have two children, Dylan and Weston. His daughter, Jessica, and her husband Ashley are expecting their first child. Mr. Miller's philosophy on life is as follows: "When things are going great, enjoy them, it won't last forever. When things are going terrible, relax, it won't last forever. Work hard, play hard and never allow fear to stop you from doing what you want or achieving what you deserve. Show up early and stay late if you want to win the war, anyone can win a battle or two, a successful life is for the tenacious." Mr. Miller credits his success to his complete dedication to helping others first and staying the course through the good times, as well as the bad. The greatest achievement for him is the fact that he is a small town country boy that now travels the world, makes friends, builds relationships and is comfortable with who he is.

Looking back, Mr. Miller attributes his success to his passion for everything he does, as well as his strong desire to help others. He became involved in his profession while working in a medical clinic while attending college. He realized that the medical industry was a dynamic and ever-changing field that presented great opportunities. The highlight of his career was being named Salesmen of the Year two years in a row, along with the additional recognition of Consultant of the Year with Welch Allyn.

Mr. Miller studied at Missouri Western State University, and he has received PSS I, PSS2, and PSS3 certifications. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Association of Critical Care Nursing. He has been a member of the Boy Scouts of America for 50 years, having earned the distinction of receiving his Eagle Scout award. Mr. Miller is also a founding board member of Sue Weaver CAUSE, a benefactor member of the NRA, and a member of the National Association for Gun Rights. In years to come, Mr. Miller will consider the possibility of teaching international business at a university or college. In years to come, Mr. Miller looks forward to possibly teaching international business at a university or college.
