EUSTIS, FL, February 17, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Deliver the Difference, a Eustis nonprofit, hosted Rotary Club of Lake County Golden Triangle members to pack food for the needy. The Rotarians packed 3,456 in just an hour and half. This was only one of the Rotary District 6980 food-packing events, called Hunger Shmunger, held over a two-week period. Four Lake County Rotary clubs in the district packed a total of 24,840 meals on February 1st and 8th. Additional packings occurred in Orange County for a total of over 40,000 meals.
The motto of Deliver the Difference, founded by Bob and Mairi Bostic, is "Changing Lives. . . One Meal at a Time". Their "first priority when providing food is always to feed starving children and their families - regardless of race, gender, faith, or other characteristics over which the recipients have no control."
