- Tampa, FL, May 15, 2008, Roy W. Echols, Vice President of Suncoast Trust & Investment Services located at Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union, has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of financial services.
Suncoast Trust & Investment Services is a financial services company that deals with investment advisory services and trust services, and belongs to the country's seventh largest credit union with over $5 billion in assets. As vice president, Mr. Echols is responsible for accounting and overseeing $250 million in assets, investment management, retirement, and estate planning. He began his career as a loan officer at Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union, and rose through the ranks as trust administrator, tax sheltered account specialist, financial advisor and program manger. Having reached his current position through hard work and dedication, Mr. Echols aspires to employ the same traits in his bid to further advance his career opportunities at the company.
Mr. Echols, a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA), underwent training in Business Administration and Finance at the University of Florida. He is affiliated with the American Banker's Association and volunteers his spare time in the Hillsborough Education Foundation, Suncoast for Kids Foundation, and various local hospitals. He stays current with the changes in his profession by continuing his education, obtaining additional certifications, attending workshops and reading industry publications.
