SOS Children's Villages in their tireless work to bring care and support to thousands of affected children across the globe through the launch of their

According to Daniel Stratton, Head of Marketing, the team at Royal Gaming has long had the plight of orphaned and abandoned children at heart and decided to help make a difference to their lives by running the
"Play, Win & Change a Life Promotion", whereby they pledge to donate
$25 to SOS Children's Villages for every new player that signs up, deposits and plays at one of recommended Casinos and/or Bingo halls listed on the Royal Gaming website over the next 3 months. All proceeds will be donated to SOS Children's Villages at the end of the promotional period, and distributed to the SOS Community Development and Family Strengthening Programme, Mamelodi, South Africa project.
This project, through Community Development Programmes (CDPs) and Family Strengthening Programmes (FSPs), offers specific assistance in the form of skills training, education, counselling, micro-loans and improved nutrition, to the most disadvantaged members of society, including child and grandparent-headed families, many of whom are affected by HIV/AIDS. This assistance better enables these families to provide for their children and stay together through difficult times. Within the community, this project offers the skills and support that vulnerable families desperately need to provide for themselves and care for their children. The overall objective of the FSP's and CDP's is to strengthen the capacity of the communities to support their orphans and vulnerable children. And the results are positive, indicating that after 3 to 5 years, many families and communities gain independence from the programme, having obtained all of the necessary skills they need to support themselves.
