/24-7PressRelease/ -- The law firm of Ruben Firsel & Ross, LLC ("RFR") is pleased to announce the addition of two experienced commercial real estate attorneys to its firm: partner James Henegan and senior associate Christine S. Bolger. Mr. Henegan comes to RFR with considerable real estate experience in retail and other commercial sectors, both in law firm practice and as in-house counsel. Ms. Bolger also has an extensive commercial real estate resume, having represented clients in a number of multi-million dollar complex transactions. The firm also welcomed attorney Daniel Cunix, a recent law school graduate, as an associate.
Mr. Henegan's career has spanned the gamut of commercial real estate transactions, including a specialization in retail leasing, shopping center development, and large-scale deals. While an attorney for Sears Roebuck, he participated in the sale of the Sears Tower and disposition of the former Sears corporate headquarters. Most recently, he served as in-house counsel for Bridgestone/Firestone with responsibility for self-development of retail outlets. In 2011, he was recognized as "Top Real Estate Counsel" by First Chair, Inc. At RFR, he will continue to advise clients in all areas of commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, sales, leasing and financing.
Ms. Bolger's practice encompasses all aspects of commercial real estate law. She has represented clients in acquiring, selling, leasing, and financing real property, most recently as an attorney at Daspin & Aument LLP. She also maintains an active construction law practice and represents national banks in sales of REO properties and post-foreclosure asset management.
Additionally, she advises clients on general corporate matters including the structuring and formation of corporate entities.
The addition of Ms. Bolger and Mr. Henegan further expands RFR's commercial real estate team, an area of strength for the firm since its founding in 2011. The firm recently welcomed new name partner Michael E. Ross, a veteran lawyer in the Chicago commercial real estate industry. Mr. Cunix will also work on real estate matters as well as the firm's corporate practice.
