MARKSVILLE, LA, June 9, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Commissioner Chairman of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribal Gaming Commission, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of gaming regulation.

Prompted by a desire to preserve the heritage of his people, the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe, and build a future for them, Mr. Wambsgans joined the Tunica-Biloxi Tribal Gaming Commission in 1997. He is recognized as an expert in interpreting and writing gaming regulations. As commissioner chairman, he is responsible for supervising the licensing of gaming employees, conducting background investigations, ensuring the integrity of the regulatory process, and overseeing the rules and controls for gaming operations. Mr. Wambsgans considers utilizing his education and talents to serve his tribe to be the most gratifying aspect of his work. He attributes his success to his hard work, dedication, flexibility and patience.

In addition to his work for the Tunica-Biloxi Tribal Gaming Commission, Mr. Wambsgans serves as gaming commissioner of Paragon Casino & Resort, a Native American casino of the Tunica-Biloxi tribe in Louisiana. He completed coursework in general studies. He is a member of the National Indian Gaming Association and National Tribal Gaming Commissioners/Regulators. In his spare time, he volunteers with his local Little League and Bikers Against Child Abuse.
