Cambridge Who's Who
- Denver City, TX, July 13, 2008, Ruth Merino, Kindergarten Teacher for the Pecos-Barstow-Toyah Independent School District, has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of primary education.
Ms. Merino has more than nine years of professional experience in education, eight of which were in business management and one year of teaching experience with the Pecos-Barstow-Toyah Independent School District. Her daily responsibilities include teaching phonics, mathematics, reading and science to kindergarten students. She attributes her success to her hard work, dedication and her desire to learn.
A Certified Education Generalist, Ms. Merino received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in 2008 and her Bachelor of Arts in Business from College of the Southwest in 2000. She is a member of the Students in Free Enterprise Alumni and teaches at the college level. In five years, Ms. Merino intends to pursue her Ph.D. in business or education.
