Sacramento Tax Law Firm Donates Winter Clothing To Local Family Resource Center
The community action committee of Roni Deutch, A Professional Tax Corporation held a winter clothing drive to support their local community.

    NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA, March 12, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Roni Deutch - known across the nation as The Tax Lady - and the staff of her California law firm donated seven bags of winter clothing to a local family resource center after a month long clothing drive.

"In 2009 my firm's Community Action Committee successfully put together a number of projects to give back to the Sacramento community," explains Deutch. "Earlier in the year members of Roni Deutch, A Professional Tax Corporation volunteered at the Martin Luther King Village; a few weeks later they donated time to coordinate the SPCA's annual Doggie Dash. The committee has also sponsored events to support the Sacramento Children's Home including a haunted house for Halloween, and a holiday season toy drive."

During the month of February employees of Roni Deutch, A Professional Tax Corporation gathered items for the winter clothing drive. The goal was to collect items that would help local families stay warm during the cold weather. The law firm collected many winter items, including blankets, coats, hats, scarves, hats, socks, etc. All donations were given to The Effort Family Resource Center.

"This drive was a great way to help families in our community feel warm and protected," explains managing attorney Justin Hein. "More and more families are struggling financially than ever before, and we are happy to have the resources to help out, even in a small way."
