Drawing on more than two decades of practiced experience in her field, Ms. Sandhu parlays her knowledge into her position as director of Mantra Indian Restaurant

QUEENSTOWN, NEW ZEALAND, January 21, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mantra Indian Restaurant Director Shammi Sandhu has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in hospitality services.

Drawing on more than two decades of practiced experience in her field, Ms. Sandhu parlays her knowledge into her position as director of Mantra Indian Restaurant. Over the past 20 years, she has developed recipes and designed the menu. She also maintains high-quality products, hosts local community and music events, conducts boutique tours in India, and networks through social media. According to Ms. Sandhu, "The work I do is dictated by a quality of high standard and this dictum starts with one self. For me it's not just about another job, but in respect for people around me with love and joy."

Ms. Sandhu attributes her success in the field to the quality of service that has been consistent for as long as she has been in business. She became involved in her profession after studying graphic design in India. She migrated to New Zealand with her family where her homemade food was recognized by the local community. A local newspaper published an article about her past and delicious Indian cuisine, which motivated her to begin displaying her food at different events and functions.

Just recently, Ms. Sandhu was inducted into Worldwide Branding for excellence in her field, and also maintains affiliation with the Queenstown Chamber of Commerce and the Women in Business Network. Looking toward the future, she intends to remain open to new opportunities that involve the restaurant industry.
