/Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Sheri L. Waldron, Emergency Planning and Clinical Informatics Coordinator for Carson City Hospital, has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of healthcare administration.
Ms. Waldron has more than 28 years of experience in healthcare, with the last 26 of these being devoted to Carson City Hospital. An expert in emergency planning, hospital incident command and clinical informatics, she is responsible for overseeing hospital emergency and incident response, ensuring that her facility complies with federal, state and local emergency preparedness grant guidelines. Additionally, she conducts hazardous materials response training,
develops policy and procedure manuals, and is responsible for the clinical implementation of
information systems at the hospital. She attributes the success and longevity that she has enjoyed to the inspiration she received from her mother, also a nurse, as well as to her diligence and passion for her profession.
A Registered Nurse, Ms. Waldron received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Ferris State University in 2003. She was honored with a Certificate of Recognition from Ferris State University for outstanding academic achievement. She was also honored with a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement from the California Emergency Medical Services Authority for participating in the revision of the Hospital Incident Command System as a subject matter expert on the National Workgroup. She volunteers for Wheatland Music Organization, where she's run the organization's medical station for 10 years. Her plans for the future include continuing in emergency planning and clinical informatics, as well as developing training and orientation programs for her facility.
Carson City Hospital (CCH) is a 77-bed, acute care hospital located in central Michigan. It is the oldest osteopathic hospital in Michigan, founded in 1936 by Emmet Binkert, DO. Since this time, CCH has been committed to serving the residents of communities in our four-county area. In addition to acute hospital care, CCH provides a variety of advanced services, ranging from an intensive/coronary care unit to a behavioral health unit and multiple outpatient services.
