With 41 years of professional experience that includes three years in her current position, Ms. Preston specializes in reproducing and preparing gamehead mounts with a focus on ruminant mammals—especially deer. Ms. Preston attributes her success to her interest in taxidermy and fascination with wildlife—she notes that the support she receives from her family is also a constant source of motivation. She is a member of the American Taxidermists Association and the Alaska Historical Society and volunteers for local charitable organizations such as the International Association of Fire Fighters and her local Troopers Association.
