    OXFORD, FL, February 22, 2012 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Shirley Jones-Von Qualen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Village Self Storage, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.

Mrs. Jones-Von Qualen began her real estate career in 1981 with Gulf American Corporation, Florida, selling its housing, land and condominium projects. She also worked as a sales manager for the franchise builder, Arthur Rutenburg. In 1994, she and her husband, the late George 'Mike' Jones, opened a national women's weight loss franchise, "Inches-a-Weigh", in Tucson, Arizona, quickly ramping up to 3 stores in 4 years. National success was recognized by 'Entrepreneur Magazine'. In 1998, she and her husband invested and developed Self Storage in the metropolitan Tucson and Sierra Vista areas, each boasting 800 unit facilities, operating as Central Self Storage, a Real Estate Investment Trust in the industry. Both facilities ramped up to 85 percent within three years and sold successfully in 2001. Relocating to Florida in 2001, Mike and Shirley invested and developed Cape Coral Self Storage as well as Village Self Storage in Oxford, Florida. Upon the untimely demise of 'Mike' Jones in 2004, Shirley Jones took over the reins by finalizing the build out and marketing this project of 800 units. Village Self Storage successfully celebrates its 10 year anniversary with Capital Management at the helm. Mrs. Shirley Jones-Von Qualen currently resides in the Lady Lake area of Central Florida with her husband, Keith Von Qualen.

Mrs. Jones-Von Qualen completed college coursework in business administration at St. Anne's College, England. She is licensed as a real estate agent in the states of New Mexico, Arizona and Florida, affiliated with the Lady Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Florida Self Storage Association, and is a Lady Mason in the Order of the Eastern Star.
