Sonya Jacobsen Excels as a Reconciliation Expert in Bookkeeping

Your Bookkeeping Angel is a bookkeeping services provider. Ms. Jacobsen has been in the bookkeeping industry for more than 23 years and has been a sole trader and owner for nearly seven years. An expert in problem solving and reconciliation, she attributes her success to her knowledge, and ability to keep herself, as well as her clients, compliant. Her professional affiliations include BNI, Association of Accounting Technicians and the Australian Bookkeepers Network.

Ms. Jacobsen is a fully qualified BAS agent with all of her insurances and memberships. Recently, she was inducted into Worldwide Branding. Married for more than 20 years with three children, she also bounces ideas off of her husband and offered her services on a volunteer basis to a primary school in the past. She became involved in her profession because she was a checkout person who wanted more. She got a job at Woolworth's head office as an account person, and liked the problem solving and reconciling aspect. She then attended a university.

Outside of her busy professional career, she enjoys sports and adventure, and has received trophies for netball, triathlons, running and mountain bike races. Two years ago, Ms. Jacobsen completed the Gold Coast 96k Kokoda. She is into obstacles races and is presently training for the Tough Mudder in August 2014. Other leisure activities include travel, camping, adventure, racing and doing obstacle courses. In five years, Ms. Jacobsen plans on moving out of a home office and obtaining a rental established office with a staff.
